About us

Micheli & Cie SA is an intellectual property consulting firm established in Geneva since 1949.

We advise and assist our clients in all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks and designs. For almost 75 years, our clients have trusted us to protect and promote their projects and innovations in Switzerland and abroad.

We are fully qualified to represent our clients directly before the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, the European Patent Office or the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (Geneva). Over the years, we have also fostered from our offices in Geneva a large network of trusted correspondents around the world.

Our team of consulting engineers neatly balances the technical and legal skills required to provide tailor-made advice and support to our clients. The diversity of our engineers’ skills allows us to work in all technical fields: watchmaking, mechanics, medical devices, chemistry, materials, biotechnology, electronics, electricity, softwares and telecoms. We are able to work in French, English and German.

On the administrative side, we rely on procedures proven by a rigorous quality system and on experienced and competent administrative staff to ensure maximum reliability in the handling of cases and the maintenance of intellectual property titles. We are also members of the main professional IP associations (AIPPI, FICPI, VSP, VESPA, AROPI, etc.). As such, we subscribe to all the ethical and deontological rules existing in the profession.
