Diserio Martin’s Intellectual Property Practice Group is thriving and growing. We represent a variety of well-known brands from all over the world, ranging from fashion to cosmetics, insurance to finance, educational programs to sporting equipment, food and drink services to toys, and much more.
Duties will include:
Trademark searching, clearance, prosecution and maintenance of trademark portfolios
Matters in front of the TTAB – Opposition and Cancellation Proceedings
Handling and organization of international trademark filings and portfolios
Investigation and analysis of trademark and copyright infringement
Drafting cease and desist letters
Drafting license, settlement, coexistence, and assignment agreements involving trademarks and copyrights
Trademark and copyright litigation – with experience in drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Advertising, promotions and sweepstakes law a plus
The ideal candidate will have 4/5 years of experience in practicing trademark and copyright law
The position requires a J.D.
Bar admission in at least one U.S. State
Strong organizational, writing, verbal, and research skills
