ASIPI organized the XXI Work Sessions and Administrative Council 2019 in Lima
From October 27 to 30, the conference rooms of the Westin Hotel, in the city of Lima, were the meeting point for Latin American professionals, as well as for some from Europe, the United States and Asia, who took part in the XXI Work Sessions and Administrative Council of ASIPI.
This year's edition presented a very interesting conference program with a special emphasis on the field of technology. Throughout the exhibitions, the path towards which the Intellectual Property was directed was shown, not only in the region, but also worldwide. Some of the titles exposed during the congress were:
Traditional Specialties Guaranteed (TSGS): Rescuing Methods, Traditions and Culinary Recipes; Tech Licensing: Negotiating in the Invention’s World; Use of Works in the Digital Era: What can be done what cannot?, GREEN PATENT CONTEST: ASIPI rewards Innovation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Generated Inventions: Using Technology to Protect your Intellectual Property, Cannabis & IP: Where do they Meet?; New Colors, Aromas and Greater Performance: How is Plant Variety Protection Evolving?; Nutrition, Health, Labeling and Trademarks: How to reach a Balance Equation?
As for social events, visitors not only enjoyed Peruvian cuisine but also enjoyed the varied architectural landscapes that the city shows, where the classic and modern style coexists, as is the case in many places where receptions were held.
